Earlier this month, Democrat gubernatorial candidate and far-left radical Cathy Glasson made national news becoming the first gubernatorial candidate in Iowa history, and the second in the country, to unionize her campaign staff. But since Glasson’s announcement, the other Democrat primary candidates have remained silent on the issue.
For wealthy businessman Fred Hubbell, the refusal to weigh in and support unionization is less surprising. Hubbell, who has been protested by unions for his “silver spoon” upbringing, came under fire earlier this year for calling some Iowa unions “corrupt.” But for candidate Nate Boulton, the silence is deafening. Boulton’s been adamant in bragging about his union credentials during the race.
If Nate Boulton is so pro-union, why won’t he allow his own staff to unionize? It appears as if Nate Boulton is just playing lip-service to his base, and isn’t willing to live by his own pro-union words.
It’s becoming clear, Cathy Glasson is the true progressive in the race – and she offers a dangerous agenda for Iowa. Learn more here at TooLiberalGlasson.com
