WASHINGTON, D.C. – The Republican Governors Association (RGA) released the following statement on the Maryland Republican gubernatorial primary:
“Congratulations to Dan Cox on his primary victory. At a time when family budgets are being squeezed, Maryland deserves a leader who is focused on fixing their problems, not someone running for president like Wes Moore. Cox has a plan for a better Maryland: addressing property taxes, lowering costs, and fixing the energy crisis.,” said RGA Chair Governor Greg Gianforte. “Moore’s record of higher taxes, out-of-control spending, and rising crime is taking Maryland backward. Moore is focused far more on his own political future than the future of Maryland.”
