Maryland Democrat gubernatorial candidate Ben Jealous is holding yet another rally with Bernie Sanders tonight, but don’t expect Jealous to go into any detail about his radical plans. For months, Ben Jealous has refused to detail how much his far-left, Sanders-inspired plans will cost taxpayers. He’s hoping that Maryland voters simply won’t notice.
Jealous has already admitted that he is open to massive tax hikes for his plan to ban private insurance and force single-payer healthcare, but he refuses to say how high those taxes would be. Jealous has also been slammed for refusing to say how much his “free” college plan would cost.
Even the Washington Post admits that Ben Jealous is offering “reckless” and “irresponsible” policies. Do Jealous’ Democrat opponents agree?
It’s time for Kevin Kamenetz and Rushern Baker to weigh in and say whether they support Ben Jealous’ radical plans, and it’s time for Jealous to be truthful with Maryland voters and detail exactly how much they will cost.
