Dem Govs Now Own Stacey Abrams’ Radical Positions

The Democratic Governors Association (DGA) is rekindling their relationship with radical left-wing activist Stacey Abrams. Despite her refusal to conceded in her failed run for governor of Georgia in 2018 and campaigning side by side with fellow radicals like Congresswomen Rashida Tlaib and Maxine Waters, who advocated for Republicans to go “straight to hell,” the DGA announced a partnership with Abrams heading into the 2020 election cycle.

Abrams’ presence is sure to be a fixture on the campaign trail alongside DGA Chair and noted tax aficionado Phil Murphy, which means that any incumbent governors or candidates accepting DGA support are now attached at the hip to one of the most extreme, socialist-endorsed, far-left activists in the nation.

A refresher on just a few of Abrams’ most extreme positions:

  • Abrams compared law enforcement officers to terrorists, and suggested that illegal immigrants should vote in U.S. elections.
  • Abrams has been supportive of impeachment for over a year, while heaping praise on leading impeachment (and Green New Deal) proponent Tom Steyer.
  • Saying she’s “sick and tired” of free market economics, Abrams supports tax hikes on working families and is all in for a government takeover of healthcare.
  • According to Abrams, the United States, “is a big country, and there are a lot of stupid people.”
  • Abrams professed that she “believes in identity politics” and stated that women who voted for President Trump in 2016 were “confused.”

“The DGA’s embrace of Stacey Abrams’ extreme views and divisive rhetoric is further proof that even mainstream Democratic Party institutions are racing to embrace the radical left,” said RGA Communications Director Amelia Chassé Alcivar. “Democrats running for governor are about to come face-to-face with the reality that the vast majority of voters do not share Stacey Abrams’ radical positions. The RGA looks forward to supporting pro-growth, pro-opportunity candidates in 2020, while Democrats push for an extreme, tax-and-spend agenda.”
