In the Colorado governor’s race, Democrat Jared Polis is refusing to admit how much his high spending proposals would cost taxpayers or how he would pay for them.
At a recent campaign event, Polis admitted he hadn’t “come up with a way of funding” his big spending early childhood education proposal.
Only a few weeks ago, Polis attempted to dodge an undecided voter’s question about how he would pay for his radical far-left plans, including single-payer, by saying he doesn’t “know the answers.”
Shortly before that, Polis tried to distance himself from his own energy plan, after confronted with a study finding it would cost an astronomical $45 billion, by claiming he had no “serious proposals” to implement it.
Polis thinks he can get elected by making pie-in-the-sky promises to his base without taking accountability for the consequences. It’s time he lets the people of Colorado know how much his radical far-left agenda will cost them.
