RGA Statement on Mississippi Primary

The Republican Governors Association congratulated Lt. Gov. Phil Bryant on his victory in the Mississippi Republican primary for governor.

“Phil Bryant’s primary victory gives Republicans a first-rate nominee and puts our Party in strong position to win in November,” said RGA Chairman Governor Rick Perry. “Phil Bryant is a proven leader who has worked closely with Governor Haley Barbour to bring new jobs to Mississippi. As governor, Phil will keep taxes low and make sure Mississippi remains an attractive state to start a business and raise a family.”
