Tonight’s final Democrat gubernatorial debate in Virginia was a free-for-all on failed politician and establishment insider Terry McAuliffe.
Lee Carter, noting that McAuliffe ignored the issues facing Virginians and talked about Glenn Youngkin in every answer: “We can’t just be a party that is opposed to the other guys.”
Jennifer Carroll Foy on McAuliffe’s failed past leadership: “He had his chance and he failed the people of Virginia…so why does he deserve a second chance?”
Jennifer Carroll Foy, responding to McAuliffe’s pandering: “Terry McAuliffe – not all black people are convicted felons…we are more than restoration of rights.”
“Terry McAuliffe’s primary opponents said it best: he is a failed, out of touch politician of the past who is far more focused on lodging false attacks at Glenn Youngkin than he is on fighting for Virginians,” said RGA Spokesperson Maddie Anderson. “Virginia voters are sick of McAuliffe’s vitriol, pandering, and hypocrisy and are looking for real solutions to rebuild the Commonwealth after eight years of Democrat control. They know McAuliffe is the culprit, not the solution.”
