WASHINGTON, D.C. – The Republican Governors Association released the following statement regarding Mike DeWine’s election as the Republican nominee for governor in Ohio:
“With dedicated experience in promoting common-sense conservative policies, Mike DeWine is the best candidate to spur job growth, recruit business investment, combat the opioid crisis, and lead Ohio forward,” said RGA Chairman Governor Bill Haslam. “As Governor, Mike will fight for lower tax rates, expand opportunity, and continue the positive reforms that have turned around Ohio’s economy. The Republican Governors Association is proud to support Mike DeWine’s campaign to be the next governor of Ohio.”
