Republican Governor Chris Sununu is producing concrete results for New Hampshire and the people of his state are taking notice. A brand new University of New Hampshire poll gives Governor Sununu a strong 57% approval rating, while only a low 17% disapprove. The poll also shows huge majority support for his proposals, including the push to expand full-day Kindergarten. Granite Staters know what real leadership looks like, and Governor Chris Sununu’s results-driven management of the state is earning him high marks.
NH1 reports:
“According to the survey, 57% of those questioned approve of the job Sununu’s doing, with 17% disapproving and just over a quarter saying they’re neutral or undecided. The 57% approval rating is up from 42% in the previous UNH poll, which was conducted in February…
The poll also indicates Sununu holds a 52%-17% favorable-unfavorable rating, with nearly a third neutral or unsure. The governor’s favorable rating is up nearly 15 points since February.
‘He’s coming out of the gate in a pretty good position,’ UNH Survey Center Director Andrew Smith told NH1 News.”
