Last week, California billionaire and far-left political activist Tom Steyer announced that he plans to organize and hold a debate for Florida’s Democrat gubernatorial candidates.
This development raises the question of whether Gwen Graham, Philip Levine, Andrew Gillum, and Chris King will embrace his agenda, share a stage with Steyer, and appear at his debate.
Steyer’s NextGen America Super PAC spent over $9 million supporting Democrat candidates willing to back his radical, far-left agenda during the 2016 election cycle. Since then, he has spent big on television ads to promote himself and his extreme agenda while making divisive calls for the President’s impeachment.
With Steyer now seeking to use his immense wealth to impact elections, Graham, Levine, Gillum, and King face a choice. Will they embrace Steyer and his far-left agenda? Or will they reject his radical and divisive politics and put their focus on the people of Florida?
