WASHINGTON, D.C. – The Republican Governors Association (RGA) released the following statement in response to the second Michigan gubernatorial debate:
“John James won tonight’s debate with a clear vision for a Michigan where hard work pays off, and families can get ahead,” said RGA Communications Director Kollin Crompton. “Jocelyn Benson offered another sales pitch for the same failed Democratic agenda. James brings a combat veteran’s resolve and a businessman’s focus on results. Michigan needs a governor who can do the job, not make excuses for the last one.”
