It appears Virginia Democrat gubernatorial candidate Tom Perriello’s op-ed in the Los Angeles Times succeeded in winning over at least one California voter. Far-left former Congressman Henry Waxman announced his support for Tom Perriello in the Huffington Post, emphasizing Perriello’s commitment to his failed job-killing Cap-and-trade legislation as well as Obamacare:
“Perriello faced massive pressure from Tea Party Republicans and polluters to oppose the Waxman-Markey climate bill I authored as Chairman of the Energy and Commerce Committee… Tom proudly voted for this legislation…
Tom proudly stood up and voted for expanded health care. Again, he stood up for his vote, and hit the trail to defend it.”
Just after Perriello announced the support of socialist Bernie Sanders, he’s now touting the endorsement of a far-left California politician who spent decades in Congress advocating for job-killing policies that Tom Perriello was eager to support.
