Republican Governors Association executive director Phil Cox issued the following statement regarding Tom Barrett’s announcement that he will run for governor:
“Tom Barrett’s record is clear: higher unemployment, runaway spending, and a 20 percent increase in property taxes. While it is ironic that Mayor Barrett used Governor Walker’s reforms to balance Milwaukee’s budget, he can’t compete with Scott Walker’s record of strong leadership; eliminating a $3.6 billion deficit, holding the line on property taxes and adding thousands of new jobs. Wisconsin cannot afford to go backwards, and Scott Walker is the only candidate who will keep Wisconsin moving in the right direction.”

The Crockett campaign sent out a fundraising email from Nevada AG Aaron Ford, who's running for governor, asking people to split a donation between Crockett and Ford through a joint ActBlue page

South Carolina families have saved $1.275 billion thanks to responsible, conservative governance.
Now, @henrymcmaster wants more. Cutting personal income taxes as much, and as fast, as possible.
That’s money directly in the pockets of South Carolina families! https://x.com/GOPGovs/status/2016910890621100310/photo/1
