RGA Statement on California Gubernatorial Primary

WASHINGTON, D.C. – The Republican Governors Association (RGA) released the following statement on the California gubernatorial primary:

“Congratulations to Steve Hilton on advancing to the California general election. After 15 years of Democrat governors, Californians are ready for Hilton to bring common sense back to a state desperate for lower prices, safer neighborhoods, more good-paying jobs, and stronger families,” said RGA Chair Governor Greg Gianforte. “Becerra is nothing more than a rubber stamp on the radical left’s agenda of open borders and endless government mandates. California deserves a leader, not a follower, and that’s Steve Hilton.”
