WASHINGTON, D.C. – In advance of President Obama’s speech on the Affordable Care Act today, Republican Governors Association Communications Director Gail Gitcho released the follow statement regarding Terry McAuliffe’s continued support of the law:
“Terry McAuliffe has made it clear he will fight tooth and nail to implement President Obama’s job-killing healthcare law if he is elected Virginia’s next governor. With ObamaCare, Virginia businesses will hire less, spend less, and struggle to abide by the law’s unattainable mandates. With President Obama’s highly publicized speech on the Affordable Care Act today, it creates the perfect opportunity for Terry McAuliffe to declare who he will stand with: Washington Democrats or Virginians.”
