RGA Statement On Oklahoma Democrats Nominating Failed Liberal Politician Drew Edmondson

WASHINGTON, D.C. – The Republican Governors Association released the following statement regarding Oklahoma Democrats selecting Drew Edmondson as their nominee for governor:

“With Drew Edmondson, Democrats have chosen a failed politician who is just too liberal for Oklahoma,” said RGA Communications Director Jon Thompson. “Edmondson was a major supporter of Hillary Clinton, joined her campaign team, and stood by Clinton even after she called Oklahomans ‘backward.’ If elected, Edmondson would impose a tax-and-spend liberal agenda, while supporting massive increases in government spending. Oklahoma voters will reject Drew Edmondson’s out-of-touch liberal agenda this November.”
