Today, the Republican Governor’s Association released the latest installment of its “Simply Stated” digital video series profiling GOP governors’ work to transform their states through pro-growth reforms and innovative policy solutions that improve the lives of working families.
The video highlights Iowa Governor Kim Reynolds’ efforts to improve education and workforce development in the Hawkeye State through the Future Ready Iowa program, her signature workforce policy initiative. In addition to signing the Future Ready Iowa Act, which expands job and training opportunities for high school graduates and adult learners, Governor Reynolds announced $16 million in new funding for the program earlier this week.

“Future Ready Iowa underscores Governor Reynolds’ commitment to expanding opportunity across the Hawkeye State,” said RGA Communications Director Amelia Chassé Alcivar. “From preparing students to achieve their dreams to providing adult workers with the skills to thrive in a 21st century economy, all Iowans can be assured that they have a governor who is invested in their success.”
The previous video in the Simply Stated series profiled Arizona Governor Doug Ducey’s successful initiative to make Arizona the first state in the country to establish universal recognition of occupational licenses.
