WASHINGTON, D.C. – The Republican Governors Association released a new television advertisement today in the Maine governor’s race, which outlines why Democrat Mike Michaud’s failure to put Maine taxpayers first makes him the wrong choice for governor.

“A governor should always act according to what’s best for the state and those who live there, but Democrat Mike Michaud’s record shows he’d make bureaucrats and illegal immigrants a priority over Maine’s taxpayers,” said RGA Communications Director Gail Gitcho. “Michaud just doesn’t get it. His priorities are sorely misplaced and his policies are wrong for Maine.”
