WASHINGTON, D.C. – Today, RGA Arizona PAC, an affiliate of the Republican Governors Association, launched a six-figure broadcast television, radio and digital ad buy. The new ad slams Katie Hobbs for supporting Joe Biden’s open border policies for weeks while Arizona Governor Doug Ducey and Texas Governor Greg Abbott work overtime to keep families safe from President Biden’s border crisis.
Hobbs’ reversal on ending Title 42 following backlash to her initial position also plays a starring role in the new ad.
“Doug Ducey puts the safety of Arizona families first and continues to do everything in his power to mitigate President Biden’s border crisis,” said RGA spokesman Will Reinert. “Yet for weeks Katie Hobbs unabashedly supported Biden’s new border policy that will intensify the crisis and bring a new surge of human trafficking, drugs and cartel members into Arizona — making Hobbs unfit to ever serve as the governor.”
There’s a crisis at our border. Record surge in crossings, illegal drugs, human trafficking flooding into our communities.
All thanks to Joe Biden’s open border policies.
That’s why Governors like Doug Ducey and Greg Abbott are stepping up to do what Joe Biden won’t: secure the border, increase patrols, and take the fight to the cartels.
But now, Biden wants to make matters worse by lifting Title 42, allowing even more illegal crossings and drugs to surge across the border
Unfortunately, Katie Hobbs showed her weakness on this crisis by trying to be on both sides of the issue.
“The top Democrat for Arizona governor is changing her tune on that very immigration policy.”
“Several weeks ago, Hobbs told me the policy known as Title forty-two just isn’t working.”
Now’s not the time for indecisive leadership, especially when it comes to the border crisis. Katie Hobbs just can’t be trusted to keep us safe.
