WASHINGTON, D.C. – The Republican Governors Association released the following statement regarding Allan Fung’s election as the Republican nominee for governor in Rhode Island:
“With a strong record of promoting fiscal responsibility, government reform, and common sense solutions, Allan Fung is the best candidate to spur job growth, restore the public’s trust, and lead Rhode Island forward,” said RGA Chairman Governor Bill Haslam. “As Governor, Allan will fight for lower taxes, expanded opportunity, and clean up the mess on Smith Hill after four years of mismanagement under Democrat control. The Republican Governors Association is proud to support Allan Fung’s campaign to be the next governor of Rhode Island.”
