Today, the Oregon House Conduct Committee met again to discuss and vote on the conclusion that the complaint made against Tina Kotek for her threatening and demeaning behavior was neither “severe” or “pervasive,” thus not qualifying as workplace harassment under Rule 27.
No matter the outcome, there’s no denying that Oregon voters are likely to find Kotek’s long history of harassment as both “severe” and “pervasive.”
“Tina Kotek’s inappropriate conduct in the workplace is too common by any standard,” said RGA Spokeswoman Kaitlin Price. “Regardless of committee determinations, in the eyes of voters, this will be seen as inexcusable for a candidate seeking to return to public office as top ally Kate Brown’s successor.”
