As Republican Mike Dunleavy’s message of change resonates with Alaskan voters, national political analysts are noting his increasing chances for victory in November.
Just earlier today, Larry Sabato’s Crystal Ball shifted their ratings in the Alaska governor’s race from “Toss-Up” to “Leans Republican.”
With Begich and Walker both embracing similar failed Democrat policies, they could split the Democrat vote.
Sabato’s Crystal Ball notes that Walker and Begich could “draw from some of the same base of support in the general election, easing the GOP’s path to victory.”
With only two months left until Election Day, Republicans have a strong opportunity to win the Alaska governorship and put the state back on the right track.
