This weekend, Virginia Democrat gubernatorial candidate Ralph Northam made another flip-flop to add to his growing list, this time on government efficiency reviews. Northam tweeted his support yesterday for government efficiency reviews to allow Virginia taxpayers to know how their money is being spent:
However, Northam’s voting record in the Virginia Senate paints a different picture. In 2012, Northam voted no on SB 348 to establish the Agency Effectiveness Review Commission, to “review state agencies on a five-year cycle and advise the General Assembly on the efficiency and effectiveness of such agencies.”
Northam’s talk about ensuring government efficiency reviews does not match his record on the issue. Once again, Northam will say or do anything to appease his far-left base or mislead Virginia voters.
