After spending nearly a year failing to break through Wisconsin’s crowded Democrat gubernatorial primary, Andy Gronik has announced he is dropping out of the race for his party’s nomination. Despite being initially touted as a “prominent” contender for Democrats, Gronik’s campaign was plagued by reports of legal issues and flip-flops as his message fell flat to voters.
Gronik’s decision to drop out leaves Democrats with gubernatorial candidates who have unanimously opposed efforts to spur job growth while pushing extreme far-left positions on voters. Just as Gronik’s message failed to connect with the people of Wisconsin, the remaining Democrats will continue to show how out-of-touch they are with working families.
