In the last 24 hours, New Jersey Democrat gubernatorial hopeful Phil Murphy has taken well-deserved heat for his offensive statements comparing President Trump to Adolf Hitler and Nazi Germany. Facing numerous calls to apologize, Murphy’s spokesman answered with a jaw-dropping reply. NJ.com reports:
“Asked if Murphy had meant to link Trump to Hitler in his November speech, Roseman answered that ‘I can’t get inside Phil’s head’ but then offered, ‘Take the comment for what it is.”
Not only does Phil Murphy’s choice to stand by his comments show a stunning disregard to the New Jersey citizens he has offended, but it further proves how unfit he is to be the Garden State’s next governor. Murphy’s decision to double down on his ridiculous and offensive claims shows that he is nothing more than a far-left extremist, completely out of touch with New Jersey voters.
