After New Hampshire Voters Rejected Him, Failed Candidate Colin Van Ostern Considering Another Run

A new report from WMUR indicates that Failed Candidate Colin Van Ostern may be looking to run again, after New Hampshire voters soundly rejected him. Van Ostern has filed a new political committee amid speculation that he may try for another run for New Hampshire’s highest office. Van Ostern’s move comes little over a year after Granite State voters rejected him and his tax-and-spend, ‘Washington-knows-best’ agenda.

According to the New Hampshire Union Leader, Van Ostern “never managed anything larger than a six pack of yogurt,”  and made his career working as a partisan political operative, which dragged down his 2016 campaign as he grew “touchy” whenever asked about the subject by reporters. Van Ostern often bragged about casting the “deciding vote” to implement Obamacare in the Granite State, even as skyrocketing premiums slammed New Hampshire families. To make matters worse, Van Ostern pushed millions in new spending proposals that would have forced tax increases on the people of New Hampshire.

New Hampshire voters have already made it clear that they don’t want Van Ostern and his extreme ‘Washington-knows-best’ agenda running their state. As Governor Chris Sununu continues to get bipartisan results for the Granite State while voters of every political persuasion give high marks for his capable leadership, Van Ostern has nothing to offer the people New Hampshire.
