More than 62,000 illegal immigrants evaded Border Patrol agents in March, according to government data, but the problem is about to become much worse in New Mexico as Michelle Lujan Grisham still refuses to take action.
Today, the Biden administration announced they will allow a public health order that provided an expedited deportation process of illegal immigrants to expire, intensifying the crisis at New Mexico’s border.
Yet Michelle Lujan Grisham still refuses to deploy the National Guard, like the GOP govs of TX & AZ.
“Every day Michelle Lujan Grisham sits on her hands and refuses to send the National Guard to the border, is a day that further exacerbates the the illegal gun, drug and violent crime crisis in New Mexico,” said RGA spokesman Will Reinert. “After campaigning on the line that ‘no one should get to do border security policy that doesn’t live on the border,’ we find out that Governor Lujan Grisham’s border blueprint is to do whatever Washington Democrats say.”
