Across the country, Democrat gubernatorial candidates continue to make extreme remarks about the President in an attempt to appease the far-left. Most notably, Tom Perriello in Virginia compared the election of Trump to the 9/11 terrorist attacks, and Phil Murphy of New Jersey openly compared President Trump to Hitler and Nazi Germany. Now in Michigan, Democrat Gubernatorial Candidate Gretchen Whitmer is following suit, with new video out of Whitmer stating that listening to Trump causes “brain damage.” Whitmer seems determined to alienate the more than 2.2 million voters in her state that cast their vote for the president, and makes it clear she cares more about partisan attacks than solving the state’s most pressing issues.
GRETCHEN WHITMER:“I saw a little bit of that press conference yesterday, I know people who sat through 77 minutes of that brain damage, I don’t know. I’m not saying he’s brain-damaged, I’m saying that would make me crazy if I had to watch the rest of it.”
Much like her fellow Democrats nationwide, Gretchen Whitmer has resorted to making insulting comments toward the president and his supporters to win over liberal primary voters instead of offering concrete solutions to move Michigan forward. The majority of voters in Michigan chose Donald Trump to receive their state’s electoral votes, and they deserve better than a gubernatorial candidate who belittles and insults their intelligence for doing so.
