Democrat Laura Kelly is out with a new TV ad claiming to be “pretty the middle of the road,” but her record says otherwise.
Last year, Kelly vetoed the most bills than any Kansas governor in nearly two decades. In her first year in office, she even vetoed a tax bill that a recent report revealed would have zeroed out the grocery tax by this upcoming January. She’s called critical race theory a “nothing burger” and vetoed commonsense legislation that would protect Kansas parents’ rights in their children’s education.
“There’s nothing ‘middle of the road’ about Democrat Laura Kelly’s record as governor,” said RGA spokesperson Joanna Rodriguez. “From vetoing tax cuts in her first year in office that would have saved Kansans hundreds of dollars a year on groceries to last week vetoing a bill protecting parents’ rights to have a say in their child’s education, Kelly has rejected common sense and put her liberal values first over and over again.”

Glad to be a part of the ribbon cutting for a new neighborhood in Hudson yesterday.
With a new 60-day permitting process for housing, we’ve taken meaningful steps to tackle our housing shortage and keep New Hampshire growing.
Less red tape, more ribbon cuttings! https://t.co/x254Xw8SXD

Abigail Spanberger’s energy plan is a roadmap to ruin. Banning gas cars. Killing jobs. Crushing families under a radical progressive agenda.
