GOP Governor Chris Sununu is delivering for the people of New Hampshire and – with sky-high approval numbers in recent polls – remains in strong position for re-election this fall.
Governing Magazine has updated its race rating for New Hampshire’s gubernatorial election, moving it from “lean Republican” to “likely Republican,” noting that Governor Sununu “is up by about 20 points against Democrats in recent polls.” This comes after the Cook Political Report also moved New Hampshire’s gubernatorial race from “leans Republican” to “likely Republican” last month.
As Governor Sununu continues to lead New Hampshire forward by cutting taxes, improving education, and fighting the opioid crisis, his high marks for leadership have him on track to win a second term this November.
