With a clear record of results and a strong 65 percent job approval rating, New Hampshire’s GOP Governor Chris Sununu finds himself in an increasingly strong position for re-election this November – and national political ratings experts are taking notice.
The Cook Political Report changed its rating for New Hampshire’s 2018 gubernatorial race this morning from “Leans Republican” to “Likely Republican,” noting that Governor Sununu has “solid job ratings” and that Democrats “don’t have a first-tier candidate” in the race.
As Governor Sununu takes action to grow jobs, improve education, and tackle the opioid crisis, New Hampshire voters are giving him high marks for leadership and putting him on track for victory this November.
