GOV. NIKKI HALEY: THE ANSWERS ARE NOT COMING FROM WASHINGTON

WASHINGTON, D.C. – The Republican Governors Association today launched the next video of the American Comeback project, a national advertising effort designed to tell the success stories and accomplishments of Republican governors.

In the fourth featured ad of the American Comeback project, South Carolina Governor Nikki Haley shares details of the governing philosophy she used to spark her state’s comeback in the face of constant gridlock in Washington, D.C.

“The best part about living in America is how successful anybody can be. I think the job of Republican governors is for us to make sure that we maintain that ability to be successful in our states,” said Governor Haley. “I want South Carolina to be that state where everybody says, ‘That’s America.’”

“I’m not going to let Washington slow us down. What we’re going to do is we’re going to be great in spite of Washington. The governors in our states understand that we don’t have time to whine and complain. We have to solve the problems that we’re dealing with, and we’re going to solve it by being creative.” Governor Haley added.

“The answers aren’t coming from Washington. The Republican governors are driving America’s comeback.” Governor Haley concluded.

In the coming weeks and months, the American Comeback project will grow to include more videos focused on individual Republican governors, their personal journeys and the progress they’ve made toward bringing prosperity to their states.
