Iowa’s economy is booming under Republican Governor Kim Reynolds, and the latest jobs numbers show that trend continuing. For the third month in a row, Iowa’s unemployment rate remains the second-lowest in the entire nation. At just 2.5 percent, Iowa’s unemployment rate is at an astounding 18-year low.
Kim Reynolds’ pro-growth economic policies are working, bringing jobs back to Iowa and leading to new tax revenues from economic growth. In fact, under Reynolds, Iowa not only has a balanced budget, but is running a $127 million budget surplus.
Governor Kim Reynolds is showing that fiscally conservative leadership works to grow jobs and put more money in the pockets of hardworking families.
