Florida Democrat establishment front-runners Gwen Graham and Philip Levine continue to struggle on the campaign trail.
While these candidates have been weighed down amid repeated episodes of hypocrisy, negative attacks on each other as entitled and “tone-deaf,” and paltry activist support, insurgent candidate Andrew Gillum has been “catching fire.”
Despite the “cloud” of corruption and scandals surrounding his candidacy, Gillum has been “winning the competition for earned media,” drawing “big crowds,” and securing major endorsements, including a former Florida Democrat Party Chair.
Now, Gillum, who already has the support of mega-donor George Soros, is even attracting the attention and money of far-left Hollywood. In a big boost to his campaign’s finances, yesterday, Gillum held a fundraiser in California with big Hollywood names like Alex Baldwin and Alyssa Milano.
Gillum’s continued momentum is further proof that the Florida Democrat establishment’s hand-picked candidates, Gwen Graham and Philip Levine, are not “in sync” with the values of rank and file voters. As a result, Florida Democrats are now destined for a major conflict between their base and political establishment that will inevitably bitterly divide their party.
Washington Free Beacon Reports:
“Two of Hollywood’s most vocal liberals are inserting themselves into the Florida governor’s race with a fundraiser in California.
Alec Baldwin and Alyssa Milano were the marquee names Thursday night supporting Tallahassee Mayor Andrew Gillum, who calls himself the only ‘true progressive’ in the race.”

Governor @JoeLombardoNV continues to get results for Nevada with his common sense, pro-growth agenda.…
The truth is @katiehobbs has nothing to run on other than a string of unpopular vetoes and a housing crisis that has only gotten worse since she’s been Governor. Time for her to own her record. https://x.com/GOPGovs/status/2079251964924146082/photo/1
