It seems Colorado Democrat gubernatorial nominee Jared Polis doesn’t have time for the concerns of rural voters in the state’s Western Slope.
Only a few days ago, Polis wouldn’t comment on whether he supports the Jordan Cove project, a natural gas facility with bipartisan support that “would be a boon to the Western Slope.”
Now, in a “slap in the face” to Western Colorado, Polis has become the first gubernatorial candidate in recent memory to decline to participate in “Western Colorado’s marquee political event,” drawing complaints from even Democrats.
Colorado deserves a pragmatic leader who will listen to the entire state – not a far-left radical who ignores the state’s rural voters.
