Connecticut Democrat gubernatorial candidate Ned Lamont is making it clear to voters that he is running for a third term of Failed Governor Dan Malloy’s job-killing policies. Today, Lamont announced Susan Bysiewicz as his running mate, another tax hiker who is committed to imposing more crippling tax and fee increases on working Connecticut families.
Like Lamont, Bysiewicz has strongly backed Malloy’s statewide electronic highway tolling proposal and has a long record of supporting tax hikes within the state. Also like Lamont, Bysiewicz has remained completely silent for the last eight years, refusing to speak out while Malloy’s agenda has forced the state into economic decline and fiscal crisis.
Lamont’s choice of Bysiewicz as his running mate leaves Connecticut Democrats saddled with two devoted Malloy Enablers to lead their party this November.
