Alabama Republican Governor Kay Ivey continues maintain sky-high approval ratings. According to a recent Morning Consult survey, Ivey has the third-highest approval rating out of any governor in the country, as 66 percent of Alabama voters approve of her job performance. As a result of her overwhelming popularity, Ivey remains in a strong position for re-election this November.

“Gov. Kay Ivey enjoys the third-highest approval rating in the country among governors, according to the latest Morning Consult quarterly poll.
Ivey’s approval rating sits at 64 percent, placing her behind only Larry Hogan, R-Maryland, (66 percent) and Charlie Baker, R-Massachusetts, (69 percent). Only 15 percent said they disapproved of the job Ivey, a Republican, was doing; the remainder were unsure.”
