The “Republicans” appearing in Katie Hobbs’ campaign ad are really Democrats, according to Fox News.
Donations reviewed in the report reveal the “Republicans” in the ad have been donating to Democrats for nearly a decade, including to the chairwoman of the Arizona Democratic Party and Senator Mark Kelly’s campaign.
In total, these “Republican” surrogates of Hobbs’ campaign have donated around $25,000 to Democratic campaigns.
“Hobbs sees Kari Lake surging in the polls and her campaigns grows more desperate by the day,” said RGA spokesman Will Reinert. “Katie Hobbs is a radical liberal who wants voters to think she is a moderate Democrat, so it’s no surprise she would dress up her campaign surrogates as “Republicans” in a desperate effort to fool Arizonans.”
