Governor Lujan Grisham’s relationship is so tattered with state lawmakers on both sides of the aisle that she told the press she isn’t even going to bother calling on lawmakers to pass bills to fix NM’s violent crime plague.
When asked why she won’t call lawmakers into a special session to pass a crime bill (as MLG did to LEGALIZE MARIJUANA), Lujan Grisham blew off the question and said:
“We don’t have agreement on where we are and what we need [to reduce crime]” – Michelle Lujan Grisham
“Michelle Lujan Grisham’s relationship with state lawmakers is so broken that she allows New Mexico to become even more dangerous, rather than calling a special session and building consensus about how to solve the state’s violent crime wave,” said RGA Spokesman Will Reinert. “Lujan Grisham will go down in history as one of the most ineffective governors of all time, and unfortunately, innocent people will continue to suffer as a result.”
