15,000 deaths. 365 days. 1 political cover-up.
One year ago today, Governor Cuomo ordered nursing homes to accept COVID-19 positive patients.
And then he lied about it all.
Just as the Governor was starting to write a book on his pandemic achievements, he began a months-long effort to obscure 9,000 COVID-19 nursing home deaths.
If only Andrew Cuomo had followed his own advice.
“Today we remember the lives of those deemed by Governor Cuomo not important enough to report their deaths, and mourn with the families who lost loved ones,” said RGA Spokesman Will Reinert. “New Yorkers will hold Governor Cuomo accountable for his abuse of power, and Americans will not reward Democratic Governors at the ballot box who blindly followed Cuomo’s lead.”
