The Durango Herald has endorsed Republican Walker Stapleton for Colorado governor as the only candidate who will continue Colorado’s “moderate leadership.”
In their editorial, The Durango Herald notes that Stapleton is running on “staying the course” in Colorado, posing “a significant contrast with [Democrat] Jared Polis” who has proposed a government takeover of health care and an unaffordable 100 percent renewable energy mandate.
Walker Stapleton wants to continue Colorado’s unique “middle way,” while Jared Polis would bankrupt the state by moving it to the radical far-left.
