A new poll shows that Republican Mike Dunleavy holds a strong lead in the Alaska governor’s race.
According to the poll, Mike Dunleavy leads both Democrats Bill Walker and Mark Begich by double-digit margins, with Dunleavy gaining 44 percent support and both Begich and Walker pulling less than 30 percent of the vote.
The poll comes after both Larry Sabato’s Crystal Ball and Cook Political Report recently moved the race into the Lean Republican column.
The double-digit lead and the recent ratings changes are further proof that Dunleavy’s message of change is resonating, while Alaskans are rejecting the same failed Democrat policies that Begich and Walker represent.
