WASHINGTON, D.C. – The Republican Governors Association released the following statement from RGA Chairman Governor Bill Haslam ahead of his visit to Michigan in support of Republican gubernatorial nominee Bill Schuette:
“As Michigan’s Attorney General, Bill Schuette has established himself as a conservative reformer, committed to getting real results for the people of his state, and the RGA is engaged in this race because we know he can win,” said RGA Chairman Governor Bill Haslam. “I look forward to campaigning with him in the state today and speaking with voters on how Bill will fight for Michigan by working to keep taxes low, expand opportunity and spur economic growth.”
