WASHINGTON, D.C. – The Republican Governors Association released the following statement regarding businessman Bill Lee’s election as the Republican nominee for governor in Tennessee:
“Bill Lee is a man of great character and purpose, and will continue our efforts to make Tennessee the best place to live, work, and raise a family,” said RGA Chairman Governor Bill Haslam. “With more Tennesseans working than ever before, less debt, the lowest taxes in the region and the fastest improving schools in the country, it is important that we have a strong leader in the governor’s office to continue that success. We’ve made a lot of progress, but with Bill as our next governor, I know we can do even better. The RGA is proud to support Bill Lee to be the next governor of Tennessee.”
