At a campaign stop last Saturday, Colorado Democrat gubernatorial candidate Jared Polis promised to “reinvigorate” Colorado’s economy, but his campaign rhetoric directly contradicts his record and far-left economic proposals:
HIGHER TAXES: While in Congress, Polis has consistently supported higher taxes, including voting for a $2 trillion tax hike. Polis says he would bring this same approach to being governor, expressing openness to raising the gas tax and increasing fees on vehicle registrations.
ANTI-ENERGY: Polis’ anti-energy policies would also devastate working families. According to a recent study, his energy proposals would cost Coloradans $45 billion.
Polis may be trying to re-brand himself on economic issues, but voters don’t want a governor who will raise their taxes and energy prices to pay for their far-left agenda.
