In Colorado, Democrat gubernatorial candidate Donna Lynn’s campaign roll-out is already off to a rough start. At one of her first campaign stops, Lynne appeared to struggle with recalling her voting record, claiming that she “could not recall” who she voted for in the 2004 and 2008 Democrat presidential primaries. The latter is especially concerning, considering the Democratic National Convention was held in Denver in 2008. Instead of admitting to Colorado primary voters who she supported, Lynne seems determined to mislead voters, hoping to play multiple sides in the gubernatorial primary.
The Colorado Independent reports:
“On Friday, Colorado’s lieutenant governor, Donna Lynne, became the fifth big-name Democrat to join a sprawling race to replace her boss, term-limited Gov. John Hickenlooper.
She has always been a Democrat, she says.
In an interview, she said she could not recall who she voted for in the 2004 presidential primary, but thinks it was probably John Edwards. She said she couldn’t recall whether she voted for Barack Obama or Hillary Clinton in the 2008 primary.”
