WASHINGTON, D.C. – The Republican Governors Association issued the following statement on Governor Nathan Deal’s victory in Georgia:
“Governor Nathan Deal has forged a clear path forward for Georgia, and in this election, voters rewarded him with another opportunity to deliver on what matters most,” said RGA Chairman Chris Christie. “Governor Deal’s ambitious leadership is the driving force behind Georgia’s progress on jobs, the economy, education, and criminal justice reform, and in his second term, he will continue to bring his vision for a more vibrant Georgia to life. The Republican Governors Association is proud to congratulate Governor Deal on his re-election.”
The Republican Governors Association was a key investor in Governor Deal’s re-election victory, investing nearly $5 million in paid media and mail. The RGA ran five television ads in Georgia detailing Democrat Jason’s Carter support for expanding Obamacare, his failure to put forward a plan that would create jobs, and his record of voting against more education funding.

Glad to be a part of the ribbon cutting for a new neighborhood in Hudson yesterday.
With a new 60-day permitting process for housing, we’ve taken meaningful steps to tackle our housing shortage and keep New Hampshire growing.
Less red tape, more ribbon cuttings! https://t.co/x254Xw8SXD
.@SpanbergerforVA’s track record in Washington says it all: she wants to destroy American Energy Independence.
Abigail Spanberger’s energy plan is a roadmap to ruin. Banning gas cars. Killing jobs. Crushing families under a radical progressive agenda.
