Add another scandal to the list for Governor Michelle Lujan Grisham.
In 2013, then-U.S. Rep. Michelle Lujan Grisham went on a trip paid for by the foreign government of Azerbaijani with Congressman Henry Cuellar, whose home was just raided in connection with the pair’s trip by the FBI division charged bribery and government integrity crimes.
What more?
“Lujan Grisham, received hundreds of thousands of dollars worth of travel expenses, luxury goods, such as scarves, crystal tea sets, gold-plated plates, turquoise earrings, and rugs, among other valuable items. Lujan Grisham did not disclose these gifts to the Ethics Committee, despite these luxury goods being above the threshold for disclosed gifts.”
Corrupt connections. Shady foreign trips. Constant embarrassment. That’s Governor Lujan Grisham.
“The list of scandals never seem to end for Michelle Lujan Grisham,” said RGA spokesman Will Reinert. “Whether six-figure sexual assault hush money payments, spending taxpayer money to fund her bougie lifestyle or taking trips now presumably under investigation by the FBI, the embarrassment Governor Lujan Grisham causes New Mexico never ends.”
