Under Gov. Larry Hogan, Maryland Adds Over 100,000 New Jobs

GOP Governor Larry Hogan’s focus on pro-jobs policies continues to gain results for the people of Maryland.

Since Governor Hogan was sworn into office in January 2015, Maryland has added over 100,000 jobs, including 11,500 created just in February.

Governor Hogan’s pro-growth leadership and success demonstrates that Republicans can govern effectively anywhere – even in a state where Democrats outnumber Republicans by a 2:1 margin.

WMDT reports:

“On this Maryland Day, Governor Larry Hogan says that the state has created another 11,500 jobs, just in February.

This brings the total number of new jobs created to over 104,000 with over 94,000 jobs coming from private sector job creators.

Governor Hogan says these numbers show that the state is making tremendous strides in growing and strengthening the economy.”
