Breaking news: Governor Tony Evers is giving his final State of the State Address tonight! You know, since he’ll be out of a job after November 8, 2022?
Here are just a few important items Governor Evers may forget to mention tonight:
- Under Evers’ watch, homicides in Milwaukee are up a whopping 188% from this time last year. This disturbing trend shows no signs of slowing down any time soon.
- Evers just vetoed a bill that gives Wisconsin teachers’ unions the greenlight to teach divisive Critical Race Theory in K-12 education.
- Evers recently signaled he would veto a bill to implement a Parental Bill of Rights in schools, calling it “radical.”
- Thanks to Evers’ and Joe Biden’s “leadership,” Wisconsinites are paying far more to heat their homes, feed their families, and drive to work.
“We hope that Governor Evers enjoys giving his State of the State address tonight, because it’s going to be his final one,” said RGA Spokeswoman Maddie Anderson. “In a time when homicides are skyrocketing, Wisconsinites are seeing their paychecks squandered by inflation, and parents are increasingly fed up with a lack of transparency in their child’s education, it’s hard to imagine what fake news Evers will come up with to fill the hour.”
